WHAT IS A RYOKAN?

A Ryokan is simply the name for a traditional style Japanese Inn.

Some will have futons or traditional floor mats to sleep on instead of beds. While others will have a sprawling view with private onsen (hot spring). And they, oftentimes, will come with breakfast included.

They are an excellent way to experience traditional Japanese culture.
