SEASONAL TRAVEL
During peak travel times the ferry system throughout the area is robust. It is easy to catch a ferry to the island from any of the surrounding areas, Ischia, Procida, The Amalfi Coast, etc. In the winter months, ferry schedules vary and can be unreliable. This is really not an area you travel to in the off season. Certainly, avoid travel between November and March as most other attractions and even restaurants will be closed for the season.

ROME

If you found that dizzying, don’t be put off by all of the transfers. While, Capri, and The Amalfi coast in general, might not be the easiest to get to. It’s well worth the travel it takes to get there, and leaves many travelers only wishing they had spent more time on its blue shores
