APRIL and MAY

For the best things to do. any time of year. We recommend checking out this extremely helpful page.

WHY?

It is worth noting that, even at its coldest, the water around the southernmost islands of Okinawa remains warm.

Near the Northern, Okinawa Honto, the water is cold in the winter. Though, wetsuits are readily available to rent.

A Whale Shark swimming in a tank at the Churaumi Aquarium

If you’re looking for an aquarium to visit in Japan, this is the one. One of the largest aquariums in the world and considered by some, to be Japan’s best.
